Fantastic! I’ve been preparing to DM Descent Into Avernus and found this podcast about a month ago. Binged everything just in time to catch the last episode. I loved that Zariel does have a road to atonement ahead of her in the end, the DiA book did not mention anything like that and my thought was that she should at least stay and help rebuild Elturel.
This has been a great source of inspiration and I hope to be half that DM for my players.
That brings me to a question. I don’t know if you have already recorded the power word talk but if you haven’t, here’s a question for Matt:
Having finished the journey, what advice would you give for someone who wants to DM DiA? Were there any chapters/storylines that were particularly tricky, or which required substantial rework?
And a question for the whole cast:
Now that all cats are out of the bags, which moments of the campaign will have a special place in your memory?
